Worms Forts is a much needed improvement for Worms 3D, the first 3D game in the worms series which became pretty boring and tedious with little strategy.
This is controlled comic violence at it's best. The speech banks of the worms are also very comical. I am not into Windows 8 so can't comment on that. Might not play on newer editions of Windows from Vista, but if you have 7 you should be able to play it in a virtual machine of XP. I have bought this as a second copy to play on LAN with my daughter who is an avid worms fan like myself as you need the disc in the machine to be able to play. The game is worth it just for the challenges to get all the weapons. The internet play never worked from day one but it should work on a LAN The Concrete Donkey is Now a Trojan Donkey that does not explode when dropped but activates randomly as the game progresses. The flying sheep is replaced by a Flying Hippo a truly awesome weapon of mass destruction. Play is by building bigger and better forts to access bigger and better weapons. Fought in different arenas from Egyptian,Ancient Greek,Old English and Japanese. Hilarious worms game with the weirdest of weapons.
